For the last post of 2024, I’m sending you a big giant hug and loads of love…to thank-you for being here and allowing me into your inbox each week. It’s an honour and a privilege to share my writing with you and to unlearn old habits together.
This yoga class is one of my favourites…My wish for you is to find 30 minutes for yourself and melt into some self-care and most of all self-love.
As the say, put your own oxygen mask on first before you help others. Love = Oxygen. 🤍🩷🤍
In her video series, Adriene always delivers a little respite and rest during her 30-day challenges,1 so we can savour the moments we’re here on the mat and today is one of those days! Below you’ll find the Yoga with Adriene video for Day 8 - MELT.
A day to soften, find stillness, and keep up with the practice of using your breath to tell your brain that it is okay to shift gears.
Bring some props if you like! A pillow, a blanket or two.
This practice reminds you that these moments on the mat, however they may look and feel each day, are for you to be with YOU.

NOTICE HOW YOU FEEL TODAY
One of the most important things I’ve had to unlearn is to not beat myself up if I set out to do something and I don’t quite get it right. If you find yourself being hard pressed to get to the mat every day, be gentle with yourself and know that you there is always tomorrow.
We’re taught to be kind and loving to each other, but be sure you are doing the same to yourself. Feel all the feels and know I’m sending you love and light. 🤍🩷🤍
(Below is my mantra. I say it every day. On the mat, and sometimes off it when my inner critic is especially loud in my head. Say it today for yourself or whenever your inner voice needs the reminder to be just as kind and loving to yourself as you are to others.)
Think Love 🙏 Speak Love 🙏 Feel Love 🙏 Be Love 🙏
