Hi Kim, I listened to your recording. I didn't know we could do this on the platform. Or did you download something? Is it possible to tell me how to find this? I appreciate your help. I think it would be nice to be able to connect and share thoughts on how to proceed successfully here. In the future, who knows, perhaps we can be quests with each other's podcasts in the future. I will have to do more research as to how to begin. I was glad to hear you talk about being real and speaking the truth. In this world, many are tormented with fear, so much so they are afraid to speak up and use their voice.
I am currently involved with a writing challenge with two other journalists who have their Masters in Journalism. One lives in Alaska, the other in Washington DC, and I am in California. We connect over the phone once a month and talk about the book we are working on and our writing goals for the next month. These women challenged me to begin submitting things on Substack. I had never heard of it and knew nothing about the type of content that is on this platform. I didn't want to get caught up attempting to write something that would fit in, so I just started creating content and submitting it. I really enjoy the office hours on Thursdays. It is helpful to see what other writers are sharing. Do you go there on Thursday mornings? I will put things on hold as I celebrate Easter and Hope's birthday. I realize coming from a place of grief on so many levels, having the ability to write and focus to complete anything has been a huge trial. To write about my daughter and Easter was the first step toward healing. Thank you for reaching out to me. I look forward to getting to know you in the future.
Hi Brenda. I am just experimenting with the podcast feature at the moment, so I'm not that familiar myself. I did do the office hours a couple of times now. I watched once and then jumped in the second time. Take care and I look forward to reading along with you.
Can't wait to hear your podcast!
